Like dreams or poetry

I take my experience, my feelings, my hopes, fears, thoughts, desires, grief, plans, questions… and I synthesize and make something from them, like dreams or poetry, but with paint. With color, shape and movement. Rather than painting a sunset, the ocean, or a moment, I try to paint what things feel like and acknowledge that everything is always shifting and becoming, never just one solid thing.
