Jackie Dandelion
Jackie Dandelion is a multidisciplinary artist and transformational worker. Her artistic practice spans abstract expressionist painting, textile/surface pattern design, and wearable art. Rooted in intuition, her work draws inspiration from the shifting movements of light, water, and wind, exploring themes of impermanence and transformation.
Her process is shaped by years of varied engagement with both the visual arts and the healing arts. Her dynamic use of colorful, fluid mediums reflect the alchemy of emotional and energetic processes.
Jackie has studied a range of healing modalities, with Family Constellations emerging as a central influence in both her life and practice. She now offers this work in addition to her art, approaching both as pathways to personal and collective liberation.
Dandelion grew up in the Hudson Valley and currently lives in Shelter Island, NY. She has a degree in textile and surface pattern design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, with additional studies in illustration, painting, and studio arts at SUNY New Paltz, the Baltimore Academy of Illustration, and the Maryland Institute College of Art. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in NY since 2006, attending workshops in many healing modalities, and studied Family Constellations with Nick Werber in 2023-24 in NY.
